Enrichment Programs

The Wyandot PTO will be offering the following After School Programs during a Winter Session: Soccer Shots, Snapology Mini-Figure Mania, Buckner Martial Arts, Webby Dance Hip Hop/Jazz, and Spanish Club. 

After School Programs begin directly after school.  If your child is registered for a program they will be dismissed at the end of the school day to their class.  Parents will pick up students in the lobby/assigned location.  Please have your ID available to confirm identity at pick up if requested. 

Registration Details:

• Classes have limited space and will be filled on a first come basis. 
• If for some reason the minimum class size is not met and the class is unable to be held, your payment will be returned.
• Registration can be completed through the QR codes or the links listed with each class.
• Registration will end once a class is full or two days before the first class date.

Class Descriptions:

Soccer Shots- Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner. Snapology Mini-figure Mania- Building with LEGO® bricks is often about one thing; making incredible constructions for the minifigures that get to live and use them. This Snapology program will provide a structure for students to make some truly wild creations; from engineering challenges like making the tallest towers or fastest car, to ones that require more imagination and creativity, like building city or vacation parks.

Webby Dance: Hip Hop/Jazz- Our instructor will introduce your child to beginning hip hop, jazz, rhythm/movement, choreography, and dance combinations.  We provide fun and unique props to learn routines using age appropriate music by today’s current artists. WEBBY dancers learn techniques such as pivot turns, jazz squares, barrel turns, hitch kicks, and more. Students will benefit and learn dance effectively by building their creativity, coordination, concentration, memory, and self-confidence, all in a positive atmosphere! Buckner Martial Arts- In this introductory session, students will learn basic Karate techniques, Stranger Safety and Awareness in a fun and safe environment. Instructors are committed to help students become more successful in school and life by teaching the fundamentals of Martial Arts. Students learn self-discipline, gain confidence and self-esteem, improve hand-foot-eye coordination, balance, coordination and fitness while having FUN! Our unique method of training is designed to instill a positive attitude, teach the importance of strong values, good character, and instill respect for self and others. Spanish Club- Spanish Club is for early elementary-age students ready to begin their Spanish language adventure!  We focus on actively communicating with native pronunciation while learning everyday communication in reading and writing, through student-to-student activities.  Every two weeks, we feature a new descriptive theme, such as winter wonderland, out to eat, and my family.  Every week, students learn conversation topics through age-appropriate fun and engaging activities, using games, songs, and craft projects.  So, let's all get together and have fun learning Spanish!!
